Hello xthorgal, Ive been on your form since the beginning (and of course i like it :-), and now that you made a clean start (again) I think its just the right time to give an important suggestion!

In my view, and in many other users view (I guess), your forum makes a grave mistake by not separating male and female content. You should know that most man (or woman) who have 'straight' sexual orientation (heteros) will find that erotic content featuring other man's (or woman's) erotic material is very unpleasant or even offensive, also, some homosexuals are not pleased by material that presents the opposie sex.

For me, Its a very disgusting experience to open a post expecting 'one thing' and finding the 'other thing'. This is very serious to me (imagine the situation where some friend (or worse!), catches you staring at a screen with lots of 'other thing' spread all over it... that could cause misunderstanding...) and I think many people (including me) are not inclined to donate to your forum because of this kind of experience.

Ive written this message in a way that you could not guess if im woman, man, gay, lesbian, etc, because Im tryin to speak in general.

I can only hope that you will think about the subject and, perhaps, make the simple changes (duplicating each sub-forum in male/female parts would work just fine i think) that would make the forum much better and pleasant for everyone.

thanks for some thought-through words. i understand your concern but the motto here is: a rose is a rose this board is meant to be a place for people who love to see both female and male holes being used or at least aren´t turned off by individually judged wrong content.

if you´re disgusted by let´s say male holes (assuming you´re a hetero male) just click the return button in your browser and don´t look on the images in the topic. that doesn´t seem to be too difficult

and most of the topics with male content are clearly labeled as such. at least you can read it from the topic´s title most of the times.

i hope that you can deal with that. if not, you would be missing the best board in the universe

I agree with both sides of this on-going dilema.

Living in LA many years ago, till I got comfortable having co-workers & eventually becoming social friends with some male gay couples (female gay is easier for a staight guy like me, go figure,eh) I would have never believed I could be so easy going about it.

Then, here is my favorite site, RBB, and about a year ago I had to ask myself the same questions I thought I had figured out 20 years ago-- how everyone is not ME, & each person is defined by the things they have done & become in their lives--- and how some of those things are not where my life has taken me!

But that is where thier lives have taken them! If they want to share it with someone, to some degree, I am secure enough in who I am to listen, if they are sharing a part of themselves. And as G said, if I can't look- I can always, with one finger, change the channel.

As I have told several other people, I am not a moderator, but to limit one free poster because I don't find his/her posts to my tastes feels to me like I would be limiting everyone, & all based on how I felt that day.

I do not think a moderators job is an easy one! Hell I can't keep 8 people happy with everything during one christmas dinner- & the mods here have to keep 2000 people happy on a day-to day basis

Thanks for your contribution on a long time debate but I completely agree with my friend & former ZenMod Gershi.
I undersand your feelings very well because I felt the same in my beginings here long time ago, "huuuu to much ruined male assholes here yuck !"
But I get used to them (even the most-yuck-protruded prolapses ) progressively and now, as I am an dominant addictive women asshole stretcher, I 've understood at last that I can play with my mine too heheh.
I'm not always arousing by male porn but I feel a better person not to be shocked by it now.

And that's a not awaited pure gift the RSBB bring to my life.

Here at RosebuttBoard we are all doing in a certain way one of the best thing men (& women of course !) can live : slightly change our inner mind patterns in a more clever and tolerant way and so bring humanity to a higher level.

A Rose is a Rose but each is different had to be honoured here haha

I agree with the initial poster. I don't think the fact that someone doesn't care to see something if they don't have to, translates into some kind of hate. I don't like certain foods. I don't want them placed in front of me. That doesn't mean I hate the people who do like them. I just don't want it in front of me. Some of them make me sick. If you enjoy them, I have nothing against you for it, but please respect MY preference.

There's absolutely no reason to have all these seperate catagories and leave out the most obvious seperation of all; male, and female. It wouldn't bother me a bit if every post was clearly labeled as to what it was. But they're not.

I think it's clear that a majority of people here would like to know what they're going to see when they open a thread. I remember a poll from the last forum and it wasn't even close. So why play a game with this any further.

This was discussed VERY thoroughly. the discision xthorgal made was at this time (and no time in the near future) the forum WOULD NOT be split into male and female. our motto and is in the rules is "a rose is a rose" and that is where this ends as far as the setup of the forum.

so it is up to the posters descretion whether or not to put descriptive tags on the post title.

we have many many gay male members here and i have never heard these wonderful people complian about all the naked women posts, avatars, signatures etc. and i will say they gay males are much more extreme in all things anal, rosebutt and prolapse.

indeed, having different straight and gay sections wouldn't be such a bad idea; it would make browsing for specific content more efficient for one thing. but the whole problem began in saying things like "who wants to look at some guys hairy prolapsed rectum, it makes me barf" or "IF I SEE ANLLOVER'S SIG PIC BANNER AGAIN I WILL VOMIT!".

Unless you are major financial contributors then IMHO you shouldn't get a say in what the split is. If you don't contribute significantly monetary wise then I don't understand how you can complain about a free service?

I don't like the bloke only stuff, so if I find it I ignore it. Simple. Then again I'm not all that bothered by the lesbian stuff so I don't go looking for it.

Perhaps a simply worded request or suggestion for IF the board design changes in the future would have been sufficient rather than what the result was.

This is not directly aimed at the OP, I just don't see how anyone who doesn't "own" it, pay for it, or run it can believe their opinion counts so much that everyone else should change to adopt their ideas.

I only say like this: this is 3th big edition of rosebuttboard and we have this kind of discussion every time. Some times it even back usually when we reach 5000~6000 members (is merged with time pass from last discusion). We speak a lot and my final decision is at always: we no split this. There is many reason what support this decision. One of major is that this board is dewoted to dilation, rosebutt, prolapse no matter of women or men.
But we recomend to users in topic description write if this is a girl or guy.
