I am obsessed with anal porn. Have been for about 30 years. I am constantly "procuring" videos on a daily basis. About 5 years ago, I decided to start editing any video that I saved/kept. I use Avidemux to edit out the non ass-fucking (boring) scenes of a video. Usually end up with a video about half to a third the original length with just the good parts. Better for watching, and takes up less storage space.

Anyone else care to share their porn habits?

if you have a good gaming pc then try handbrake convert your edited videos to x265 10-bit, it will reduce the size to the 10th part of original size. for example if you have 1 gb video file then the size will be 100-250mb after conversion without any quality loss. i convert all of my 1080p collection videos and it worth it. my 5tb full hdd is now 2.7tb free.

I do have handbrake and am very familiar with it. I am, however, not so worried about the size of the movie, rather the quality of the content. And by that I mean I want it all to be hard core ass fucking (and some brief ATM). The reduction in size is just an added bonus. I've also decided that it's not the quantity of porn that is important to me, but the quality of the female that does it for me. She's got to have a certain something that really does it for me, that really turns me on. These criteria, ruthlessly applied to both new movies and those I currently possess, have managed to keep my collection down to about 600 videos...so far.

The first girl I ever crushed on was a skinny towhead with long, straight, fine blond hair way back in kindergarten. Man, I was in puppy love with her for years! And even though this was 50 years ago, it still affects me today in terms of what I find beautiful in a woman. Almost all of the porn I collect is skinny blondes. Those few girls that have made the cut that are not blond have a certain je ne sais quoi about them that really turns me on...

i am also never compromised with quality, i don't know what settings you've tried but in my case quality is same as original. i compared like thousand times, and show the convertable content to other person, not even once they find any difference in details.

Sorry. I was not clear. When I used the term "quality" I was referring to the desirability of the female, the sexual content of the video and how much it turned me on, and the lighting and camera angles. I was not referring to the quality of the video encoding.

i already uploaded on google drive, but how long they will be there i don't know. there are almost 10tb+ video data i have uploaded. it's a heartbrake if they got deleted, so i also made the backup.

Blaman, thanks for the input. A little snarky, however, this is a is something I've also pondered on. At the end of my life I don't want to look back with regret at all of the my finite, precious time I wasted on something useless...

I too have a sizeable collection - over 25 years of treasure that I am intending to edit down to the best bits / genres.

Interesting too, there are a lot of videos that need a big chunk deleted here and there but it is time consuming to go through and though not to get distracted! haha. 

Yeah, as someone said, important to have a hobby, and ok also to have one like this, but do not want to waste too much precious life on this one and let it get all consuming.

WOW! 25 years worth. This means you are probably still holding on to VHS and definitely DVD.

I've been using and amassing porn since I was a preteen. Had a huge Penthouse magazine collection that I started buying in 1980. It took a LONG time before I was ready to get rid of it, way after I stopped buying them in the 90s--mostly for sentimental reasons. Went on to acquire a reasonable stock of anal VHS. I was never happy with their quality, and so did not put much effort into it. These were discarded as soon as DIVX was popular. And those were phased out for DVD when video quality became an issue. DVD was discarded when I got my first big screen HD TV. So now all I have are 1080p quality. This is where I draw the line. Not going to 4K. These old eyes do not really see all that much difference between 1080p and 2160p, at least certainly not enough to make the transition.

Funny we’re talking about video and the evolution of recording platforms… 

I started playing heavy just before the advent of digital (late ‘90’s) and therefore had a variety of video cameras to document my sessions. The last one I had before going digital was a VHS-C cam. In the ensuing years I’ve managed to hold onto ONE tape. I have no idea what’s on it or from exactly what era, but GodDAMN do I want to find out.  It sits in my safe beckoning to me. I urgently need to find a vhs-c cartridge, an old vcr and the cables to hook it up to my TV. The problem with that is that I live with my wife and I’d prefer to keep this private. Have to find a way to procure all this stuff on the QT.

If I’m right, that tape has SCORCHING footage of me DEEP self-fisting, giant toys and self-swallowing cum from at LEAST 20 years ago. Fuck, I may never recover!

Talking about old recordings...

Having moved recently, while unpacking and reorganizing I rediscovered a cassette tape marked with an old girlfriend's name from way back in 1986. The reason I'd been holding on to this was because I'd recorded us having sex once. She was a real screamer--literally! I've long since gone digital but was able to get a tape player from FIL. Turns out this was just an audio letter she'd made for me when I was away at college. Interesting to hear her voice but pretty disappointing
