i didn't know the mungo jerry group, i mean their name, but a research gave me their most famous song, that of course i know. the first words are very nice but maybe not so politically correct

listening to Jamiroquai right now and it is sooo smooth, i am filled with enough joy to almost cry
his vids are just damn cool also. Jamiroquai is one that i know is a great but i am not familular enough with to know.... but i got my connects

i only learned of mugo jerry the first week of last december and the follow write-up sold me on dl them;

Mungo Jerry was formed in 1970 by singer/guitarist Ray Dorset (born March 21, 1946), who had a fascination with early rock & roll sounds, as well as skiffle and blues. The other original members were Mike Cole on upright bass; Paul King on guitar, kazoo, and jug; Joe Rush playing washboard; and Colin Earl at the keyboards. Dorset and Earl had first hooked up in the Good Earth, a group with a mixed rock & roll and blues sound, which cut some tracks for the mid-priced label Saga, none of which sold. Cole, King, and Rush came aboard and the lineup was complete. The name Mungo Jerry – from a T.S. Eliot poem – came next, with a contract from Pye Records.

it is often i do not listen to music while i am outside with my plants. i like to take in as much of thier environment as possible so to get more 'into' thier mindset. makes for a better parent i think. but the plants indoors i normally tend to indoors will be more fitting my general mood at the time, but probably leans more to the less energy stuff... or if the radio is on it is the local jazz station 91.1 fm.
