I'd suggest getting a thin double dildo first. Once you can get your body use to taking it beyond the sigmoid you can start stretching it. Just like you did with your ass to start with.
Another thing I do is use a syringe to inject 5-10cc of lube in my ass. Then use a fat dildo to push it up deep. Take your time and take it slow. There isn't a big reward for going deep fast but there can be a big penalty like a trip to the emergency room.

personally, i've never been able to master depth play, although i can use toys that are pretty large diameter. everytime i've tried to go too deep, the only thing i've ever gotten for my trouble is a little pink in the lube.

One useful 'trick' you can try is this:

Since you're (probably) already working to clean out properly, using water/enema, stay a little longer in the tub/shower/bathroom.
When you feel nice and clean high enough you squirt some of your favorite lube inside and follow that with a dose of water. More than a little but nowhere near enough to make you feel full.
The thing here is that the internal muscles are designed to move stuff forward and out. Solids but not liquids. The water will help you gently 'open up' inside.
With that lube and water inside, insert a thinner dong or other similar 'tool', taking care not to let the water escape. The 'tool' will push the water up and aside, expanding and opening as you go and the lube will make it easier.

This method may be a little tricky and potentially a little messy, but it seems to work well enough - for a bit, at least.

When it comes to deeper penetration, 40+ cm (16+ in), or deep and thick, I could use some good ideas myself. Do chime in, all you specialists out there.

I can take a double ended jelly dildo, that is about 5 cm in diameter about 35 - 40 cm into me.

Getting past the Sigmoid colon is difficult, but rewarding In the body the bend where the descending colon meets the sigmoid colon can be very difficult to negociate. I have never got past it, and I think that others have problems there too.
