1. ... ok my bad... just read over the pinned up lube thread. I still would like answers to my questions though! I've melted half my dongs using Crisco before i made the connection that the oil was eating at the latex. I don't get how people just use crisco right on their toys? And it seems J-Lube takes the cake. I live in Canada, any recommendations for online stores?
2. I know this issue has been addressed already, regardless I would like to know what you guys think the best lube is for 1: Solo anal stretching 2: Sodomizing your partner I've been running through lots of different kinds and I'm always disappointed. Water-based seems to grip and pull, and ends up sticky. Oil-based lubes, including Crisco, have disintegrated many of my favorite toys but seem to work well. And finally silicone based, I heard it's bad for your intestinal walls...? I usually end up doing fisting sessions making my gf wear a vinyl glove, or for solo anal I put a vinyl condom over my toys and use oil based. It's a pain and it's messy... and vinyl condoms are expensive. I need advice please!! Names of brands and maybe where to buy in bulk online (buying at the pharmacy is costing me a mint) Thanks much
3. I'm just getting over prostatitis. Initially the docs thought it was epiditimitis, an infection/inflamation of the epiditimus located at the back of the testicles. It started off with a dull, long lasting testicle pain that lasted for a month. I was given antibiotics but it didn't help. I got an ultrasound of my balls (or as i like to call it... a balltrasound) which came back negative. Finally when i mentioned my other symptoms, difficulty gating, small amounts of pee seeping out after urination, frequent urinating, mild burn when urinating... they said it was prostatitis. And so i connected the dots and determined it was due to my new "black balled" didlo that I have been riding in a way to hit my prostate over and over again. I obviously didn't tell my doctor about my bed-time habits, this is just my conclusion. So, I've had to stop fisting with my girlfriend and stop the solo stretching. I think you are right... that prostate stimulation through, say, riding a huge dildo, can cause some damage to the prostate and inevitably lead to inflammation and even infection. I read that prostate massaged are dangerous as they can squish the "bags" that hold the vesicle fluid in your prostate. If those bags are squished (like by hitting your prostate with a hard dong over and over again) then that fluid can't come out into the ejaculate, gets trapped and eventually lingers and leads to infection. The pain is gone now (2 months later), I think i'm ok... but now i make sure to use shorter toys, and if i do use long dildos, I try to use them in a way that they don't hit the prostate directly.
4. Umijoshi, I'm the one that wrote the post about the tailbone pain. I understand the earlier explanation of the skin causing pain, but that is entirely different than TAILBONE pain. It's bone pain, structural pain... you would know the difference. I've delved much more into this subject and yes in fact it seems the way your pelvis is made, how wide the gap is between the 2 illiac bones, and the angle of the sacrum are all players in determining how big a toy you can take. You have to understand that, for example using the ace of spades toy, you are pushing all your tissues and ligaments to the side (outward) to let the toy in, that presses against bone and ultimately if you give that final push, something might pop. That's what happened to me, and i've had tailbone pain ever since. My opinion? It's not worth it... listen to your body. That adrenaline rush you are getting is the "fight or flight" hormones kicking in telling your body that something is wrong. Also if you DO get it in, getting out is also painful. What i ended up doing is using a knife to shave off a bit of the toy at it's largest circumference. Didn't need to take off a lot to get it to fit without pain, and now i love that toy. I put some physio tape (used for taping up joints) around the rough edge resulting from the cut, and put a condom or latex glove over it before use.
5.
i had a past odissey with balls, couldn't expel 'em...went to the hospital...oh what an horrible idea!!!
I've been wanting to experiment with balls but have been warned by sooooooooo many people about the risks of loosing the item and not being able to expel it. I'm sure your visit to the hospital was quite uncomfortable. Is it really safe to play without some kind of string or retrieving mechanism?
6. Fractured, or bruised... yes that would make sense. Did anyone else ever experience this? Are there any positions that favor distancing the coccyx from insertion path...?
7. Congrats JD! Never heard of the bed buddy, I will def be checking it out. Do you have a link? I had the same story as you with the Ace of Spades... was just always a bit too big. I think the problem is that it's quite hard and has no give. If you use a soft dildo that is around 2.5 inches diameter... your anus is pushing on all sides and in reality it is a bit smaller then 2.5. But the ace of spades is very hard and has no give whatsoever. It took me months to get it in. The first time I did, I had trouble pulling it out. I bled and I'm pretty sure I broke or bruised my tailbone, as sitting became almost impossible for the next couple weeks. I took a long break from the toy, and tried again some months later... and again hurt my tailbone real bad. I ended up using a knife to shave off a bit at the widest point, then used a lighter to burn it smooth. It's a great plug now at about 2.9.
8. Greetings! After lots of warming up during a solo anal session, I decided to try to take on the Ace of Spades (3.1 inches diameter), a short plug that resembles the ace of spades. I had been able to take 2.75 dildos no problem and thought the extra 0.25 inches would be easy, but it wasn't. When inserting, I felt my pelvic bones splitting to either side at the widest point of the toy, after a couple minutes it finally popped it and i felt intense pain in the coccyx. After I finally got it out, there was some bleeding so I called it quits. The real pain started the next day when I could not even sit in my car to get to work. Intense, sharp pain in the tailbone... making sitting almost impossible to tolerate, lasted for about a month. 6 months later I tried the toy again... and same story. I've decided to throw in the towel at 2.75 inches but I would love to go bigger. My conclusion is that the anus can stretch to a point where the limiting factor becomes bone/ligament structure of the pelvic bone and sacrum. I'd love to get some input from more experienced people. Cheers
