  1. I can't offer much for dealing with the discouragement, I've been fortunate regarding hemorrhoids. But as for dealing with the things that can cause hemorrhoids, fiber is a game changer. It's obviously preferable to get it from your diet, but no matter how much fiber I ate nothing compared to a psyllium husk fiber supplement (like metamucil). Larger bowel movements with no strain and virtually no need to wipe. Seriously, most of the time I wipe and it comes away clean. Basically a courtesy wipe. It also makes cleaning out easier for me. Word of caution though, not all fiber supplements are the same. I tried Benefiber (wheat dextrin) because it was on sale and I had the most sticky, gross shits of my life.
  2. The most important part has been said: do what makes you feel good. I do have a little to add regarding anatomy, prolapses, and depth. First, at 6-8" in you're probably not hitting your sigmoid. Before the sigmoid is the transverse rectal folds, they kind make the rectum squiggly and it curves. A few inches after that is the sigmoid (for me it's about 10" in). Getting past the folds is different from going into the sigmoid, once you learn to navigate them an object will just "snake in." The sigmoid is more of a popping feeling, whereas the folds feel more like regular rectal play once you stretch that area/learn to navigate it. From experience, it does become easier with time. Second, you don't need depth to get something of a prolapse going on. For the longest time I struggled with the knowledge/experience to get past the folds and the sigmoid. I developed a prolapse that stuck out about 1.5" after play in the 7" deep range and very much had that rose-like appearance. Depth play will definitely improve it and probably change the shape to that more tubular design, as the higher sections of the colon are able to descend more. Mine has certainly become longer and more tubular since I started making progress on depth. Third, depth can be absolutely amazing, although not for everyone. But it can be uncomfortable getting to the point where your body is accustomed to it. I've been obsessed with depth, and that provided the motivation to get there. And being able to touch my abdomen and feel my partner's hand beneath my belly button is the biggest turn on. Unfortunately for people unsure about depth or not particularly turned on by it, it's hard to ever know if it's for you because of the commitment involved, and how long it can take to reach the point where you find out if it's pleasurable for you. This isn't a clear answer, because it's a complicated topic. But do you need to go deeper if you want to go wider? No, your play area is as deep and wide as you want it to be. That will affect what your play is like and what happens with your prolapse, so like a lot of things, it's a complex consideration of what you want out of a situation.
  3. You might find different orgasms or new challenges help, but the one thing I think is pretty common amongst most people who lose interest in something they're passionate about is that having expectations that put pressure on yourself to enjoy it won't help, it could make it worse. Usually taking a break can bring something back, but it's hard when you don't want to lose progress. Maybe shifting thinking about playing as a sexual activity to maybe something that you do a bit here and there to relax might take some pressure off and you'll find your enjoyment again. And what things are to us do shift and that's alright. My play used to be 100% horn dog all the time. Now I find a third the time I play I feel like that, and the rest is just a chill activity where I sit back, take it easy, and enjoy something deep in my guts
  4. I really feel this pain, I've always had a problem with the last third of a larger enema coming out. I developed a decent prolapse fairly easily, and I've always wondered if that had something to do with it. My partner can't prolapse, and his enemas are really straightforward. If he can't get it all out, all he needs to do is stick a toy up his ass and everything gets moving again. If that doesn't work for you, from my struggles I suggest: - don't sit on the toilet, get up and move. Some actions will stimulate your colon letting go more than others, for me bending, picking things up, or walking up stairs is effective - palpitate your lower colon/sigmoid. I'm relatively lean and can even feel the water that is trapped and almost "massage it out" sometimes - give it time. If I'm going for a full clean out/depth play where I really can't have any mess, I spread my enemas out. I'll take about 2L fairly close together with the second one being when I feel like most of the water is out. Then I wait a few hours. I figure if I have trapped water it's going to be lower in the colon, sigmoid/descending area. Even if I can't get all the water out, I can slowly fill up (usually with one litre) and at least get the dirty part out, the stuff that is sitting low enough in the colon to be a part of the water that is released. Sometimes I'll do this second part a few times, and wait a few hours for the rest of the water to be absorbed. It's always worked for me, but it may not work that way for everyone. This ends up being very labour intensive and pretty much requires a day off from university or work for me, so if you struggle with enemas, and want to play regularly, you sometimes have to ask yourself if for ease of play, the situation you're playing in (alone, with another(s), big session, or just ram your ass after a shitty day) and being kind to your digestive tract, if you're OK with having a more shallow clean/risking a bit of mess that you can rinse out if it happens
