I must admit, I'm thrilled to find a forum for this. I'm getting into regular butt plug use only just now at the age of 34 and am loving what I'm reading.

Part of why I'm posting is that I have to share my personal triumph. I'm sure many of those here who have more experience won't be terribly impressed, but about two weeks ago I got my first butt plug. I had done some anal play with beads and small dildos, but I loved the idea of 'wearing' a butt plug and none of the dildos were good for that (I could easily see them 'getting lost' so I wouldn't try it.)

When to a porn store and got the dildo. In the store, 2 inches sounded like a good place to start. That night when I first tried it, though, my anus told me otherwise. I couldn't get it in, no matter how much lube I used. For the next week I kept trying (whether that's persistence or stubbornness is up for debate). But it finally happened.

Disappointed I didn't make it through the night. I laid in bed for a long time and everything was fine... I just was too excited about sleeping with my butt plug in that I couldn't go to sleep! Oi...

I thought masturbating would do the trick, but as always, once the sexual energy is gone, the desire to sleep with the plug in was gone and so I pushed it out.

I guess the 'good news' is that I only got four hours of sleep. I'm pretty tired already so I'm going to try again tonight. Maybe this will be the lucky charm.

And just to assuage my fears... for a new guy like me, is there such at thing as wearing the plug too much? I freakin' LOVE how I feel with it in me...

Congrats and welcome to the forum.
I know what you mean when you say you love the feeling. Everytime I break new ground I get the same rush. I also know what you mean when you say it's hard to get to sleep with a plug in. I have done it, sometimes it's a little dry coming out if you leave it in for a long time, but it's not too bad. You just have to keep trying you will get more and more use to the feeling.
Do you have any plans to go deeper or wider? I like wide myself but I work on depth as well.
As always, use lots of lube.

Yeah, still haven't managed to go all night. I have been using it daily though, at the very least when I'm in the shower. It's getting easier to get the plug in. The first time is happened it took me a couple of minutes to slowly work it in. Now that I know what to expect as far as how it feels, I can get it in in relatively quickly.

As for future goals, I'm looking to go wider. I don't think I'm ready yet as I still enjoy wearing the plug I've got. I am wondering what the next step up would be, though, and I'm not sure where to start looking. I know there's no shortage of porn web sites, but I'm wondering about bigger sizes and shapes.

The other thing I want to work on, though, is the time I can wear the plug. All this plug play came from a fantasy story I read a long time ago about a master and his (human) pet and the pet was told to wear the plug 24 hours a day every day. I know that's not realistic, but the biggest thrill for me will be to be able to wear my plug comfortably enough so I can go out and take care of everyday errands. Today, though, was an awesome day as I accomplished two things I've always wanted to do. This morning I woke up proper with my butt plug still lodged nice and deep. Finally made it through the night with the big thing in there. I let it stay in a little while longer until the morning shoulder. I'm glad you are feeling what many of us have enjoyed before. It's too late to tell you, but for others who may be wanting
to try the "out-in-public" butt plugging and you're worried about the [b]URGE TO PURGE[/b], you can always start out by
plugging up while mowing the lawn, washing the car, or sweeping the sidewalk; anything very close to home if you need to
make that 'mad dash to expulsion'. Of course, if you desire to 'go bigger' in public, try the fuller feeling outside at
home first.

Question, for you and anyone else reading this thread. Do you get more enjoyment out of the feeling of fullness inside your
ass or the feeling of having your asshole held open by the butt plug?

Thanks for the suggestion about staying around the house. That would have been a smart thing to do the first time. However, doing all those errands (McDonalds, Target, gas station, supermarket shopping) and not having to go does give me a sense of confidence! But yes, when I do go larger (and I will eventually), the test run will stay in the immediate vicinity.

As for what is it that gets me going, that's kind of a mix of things. The incredible second of my ass opening up around the widest part of the plug for the first time is always a shock, but I love it. However, I think the fullness is what does it for me. When I'm walking around and I can feel it slipping and sliding inside of me, telling me that what I'm doing is 'wrong' (as far as social taboos go) is such a thrill. And yet, as you asked that question, it made me wish the base under the widest part of the butt plug was just a little thicker.

I'm currently using the Doc Johnson butt plug, but I'm thinking I want to graduate up. It's amazing to think that I only just got the thing in me about 15 days ago or so and just last night I was pushing it in and out of my ass in rapid succession, the thick base stretching the anal ring over and over. Forgetting to mention the size is simply a case of thinking it but not typing it. The plug I've got is two inches in diameter at the widest part of the base. Nothing that's going to impress people here, judging from what I've seen people push inside of them, but filling for this new guy.

As for the Super Big Butt Plug... yeah, that is more of a battering ram for the rectum than it is a butt plug. I suppose that's the fantasy, what I dream of, but I know there's no way I'm fitting that up my ass... at least not without a year or two (or three or...) of practice and building up to it! But you asked what made my butt twitch and that's certainly it!

Haven't done anything amazing lately with my plug. I've worn it again for a quick trip out, but at this point, my next step is to go wider. I'm more interested in stretching my ass wider and wider, not so much with going deeper.
