Yes: transparency. If a reasonable portfolio of how profits are made, where they are going, what they are being spent on (if it all, perhaps simply saved), etc. exists, then that would be more sufficient in making sure there were fair prices.

Due to depreciation and decreasing demands of popularity, that also means that distributors can work on a non-profit basis, by milking as much out of those willing to pay (even if they have been mislead or are too foolish to focus on their reality), while those patient enough to wait, can get it eventually for free.

A far better model would be a non-profit, in synchronous system. It's understandable that a community that would be able to filter and water down costs, to mean little tax on an individual, would make free a practical offering.

Those that pay, give admission to a fact that they can't see something fall, because capitalism demands such.

Free-ism is how information is delivered best, to those looking for it. Sustainability isn't an issue: it's powered by a growth industry of sexual awareness.

People eventually will have a lack of scarcity in things that they need for such tasks... and then, "living expenses and productions costs," become history.
