How can I make a Vob-File to a avi-File?

Recently I downloaded a .vob file, RShare linked from this forum. QuickTime player open it. I've converted immediately in another format. But you must have the unlock key to permit to Quicktime upgrade himself to PRO Version. It works on Mac, don't know if is the same thing on a pc.
