.xtm - strange extension, anyone know what to do?

I downloaded a couple of files which were posted on this site by Lancor, and they are impossible to open, by me anyway. The full name of the file is
old_and_young_fisting.wmv.001.xtm, and there is an 002 file, same name of course. What does it mean to have a second file extension after the 001 ? And anyway I can't find that extension listed anywhere...

well ..

1. erase the ".xtm"
2. join them with hjsplit ( google hjsplit and get the program and join the files )
3. enjoy the movie ( u can now delete the .001 etc files )

Thanks for your help. I'm OK with hjsplit etc, but I didn't know I could just remove the .xtm. Have you any view about Xtremsplit - which is supposed to do something to .xtm files ? Thanks anyway for your advice.

Never used it , i stick to hjsplit . But if u found the program that made the split then use that one
