tongue.gif Hi everyone tongue.gif

I'm new to RapidShare and i seem to have some issue's with that crap service.
Just now ive been uploading a file (about 50MB) and when its finished i refresh the folder and its not there.
The speed is slow (max 218kb/s) and jumps from 4kb/s to ~200kb/s.

What about files not being there when you just upload them?
Speed? are there better sevices out there?
Are there some file naming rules to obey?

I'm asking because im currently uploading 6.5 GByte of MissXtreme and its taking forever.

One reason could be for that the uploading recognized forbidden material.
uploaded -> hash checking -> recognized -> forbidden -> deleted

this is a good reason to use rars to put your file into... as well you can rename the rar to an inconspicuous name while leaving the actual file name untouched... then IF it gets forbidden and they recognize the rar just add a preview pic or txt file into the rar and re-up cool.gif
