Poppers safety question

I've never used poppers but am very much intrigued.  i've read that they're not to be taken by people who have low blood pressure.  my blood pressure has been described at some (but not all) doctor's office visits as being "on the low side of normal" (124/70 to be exact).  should i rule them out?  technically i'm not "officially" deemed as having low blood pressure but i suppose you could say i'm on the cusp.

I think if I were to give you any advice it would be to be careful and go slow. Poppers can be a lot of fun, but they are risky. If it's something that you want to explore, I'd say try it with other experienced people around if possible and use lightly, especially at first.

Seconding this- especially if you have concerns about blood pressure you should absolutely make sure to have an experienced partner with you! Or at the very least someone who can help if things go south.

I agree with the above. But also from personal experience. My pressure is usually lower then yours 115/75 with a resting heart rate of 50. I run a lot and do intense cardio intervals. Never had a problem with it. Now using it excessively can cause vision damage.

yes, I've definitely read about this.

brings me to probably the most risky aspect of poppers which is the legal issue. different countries have put prohibition on 'poppers' but they're still available to buy. this is because the folks who make them alter the chemical composition in order to remain technically legal.

if you can actually get hold of genuine amyl in the US (I'm not sure you can) then go for that. I live UK and buy mine from an EU site that still sells genuine amyl poppers. there are a few poppers threads on this site and others that should help you to find a good place to buy from. as with anything that skirts the edge of drug legality, it's a bit of a wild west so be extra cautious.

If someone could point me in the direction of amyl nritraite in the states I would be so happy!! I am on a a reddit group dedicated to poppers and no one has found anything even close.

Amyl was sold in the USA up until about 10 yrs ago. All the poppers here now are shit. I've had great experience with getting them from France.    poppers-aromas.eu   The price ends up lower overall than the disappointing stuff bought locally.

oh that's right, i forgot about the vision loss factor.  deal breaker.  not worth the risk

I used to loooove poppers! However, after years of use I have developed a reaction to them. Every time I use them within a few hours develop breathing issues. It really made it not worth doing them anymore.

I've been using it for years and never had a problem. It should be used in moderation and never together with drugs for erectile dysfunction (Viagra ...)
