Car accidents are no joke, driving is probably the single most dangerous thing that most people take for granted.

Luckily she's not paralysed, and it looks like she's getting top notch medical care, so things could certainly have been much worse!

She has photos on her Instagram, and it's gruesome. Her right leg had multiple fractures and the surgery will leave big scars. On top of that it seems the first doctor screwed up. It happens more and more often, sadly. I had one surgeon screw up once myself. 

I would be surprised if she ever came back to porn. She is a cute gal. I think now is the time to find herself a good husband who will take care of her (and her butt).

Sorry, but not having a health insurance Is absolutely inexcusable. But maybe thats a european view... I'm on my part are absolutely not willing to give pittance to others bad life decisions. a health insurance is not optional.

It's a personal choice in the US. There is a system of health insurance called medicaid for people who live under the legal poverty level, therefore she is not totally without health insurance or health coverage since she doesn't make a buck now. 

The reason why she didn't have insurance is because she decided to not have one. Porn does not pay that well at all, actually, and these girls usually have a hard time finding another line of work. I know of one girl who used to be a Suicide Girl and now has a regular office job but she's scared one day she'll be recognized.

It's a misconception that the US does not have any sort of health insurance coverage for the poor and the old, as we all contribute towards that on our paycheck, on top of social security insurance, which is both a "retirement fund" (albeit with a negative rate) and a fund used to help people on long term disability. I've actually been in the situation where I was called a liar by a German relative who didn't think that this type of social coverage existed. I had to show him my paycheck.

When I lived in Europe, including France, I remember I had to purchase my own private insurance on top of the state-funded one, because it did not cover for all of the expenses.So the stories about "free healthcare" in Europe is a big lie. You're still left with a deductible.

About the great ol' america, when this country and it's people have much to offer to the rest of the world, it's also a big heap of shit under the world's shoe :  rabid capitalism and insane wastefulness for the sake of the good american way of life have juste drove this country nuts.

As for the rest of the world where money is the 1st totem, there's 2 path. Either you pile money in your bank account THEN you have to buy yourself a private complementary insurance (adding to the refund of the public system due to every citizen) OR you are one of the old or new poor people, new being the 'petite bourgeoisie' (middle class) and you are covered by the national health system AND a national complementary public one, no matter your needs.

Of course, the first could buy themselves a gold tooth when the second will only have a metal one. that's the only difference, with the final precision, under the new asshole french president macron (with his stinky european union)  all previous rights and public systems are being thrown away, sold to private corporations, not making france great again because it can do it but more in the american way, the billionaire way.

Private insurance is extremely expensive in the US, and sex workers don't qualify for state benefits in most states. It's fucked up.

I'd say it's a certainty that she'll never do porn again - as many surgeries as she likely needed to recover from the accident, she's going to have a lot of scars that would be hard to cover with makeup or strategically-placed clothing. Granted, I don't think many of us would mind but she was already trending away from extreme anal anyways and the accident was the final nail in the coffin.

That's pretty much the same as what happened to Felicia Clover (not an extreme anal queen, a more traditional BBW adult model); she got in a bad car accident and needed a year or more just to get back to living normally. At this point, I'd be happy if Roxy is just able to avoid needing a wheelchair/walker/scooter to get around.

When you see the state of her legs on her Instagram, it's bad. She is probably not coming back. Being able to walk somewhat normally will be an achievement. It seems she fell asleep at the wheel or drove too fast in the fog and when straight in a curve.

She had a crowdfunding account set to give for her medical bills. I know her sister ran it. I considered messaging the sister on LinkedIn once to ask for news as well as if more money is needed.

Sad that this is how we got to know that Roxy's real name is Darla. So cute.

It's not really that expensive when you have a regular job. Mine costs me $150 per month with children, with a $3000 in network deductible. But my salary is much higher that if I worked in a nanny state like France or Germany, therefore I can save that $3000 tenfold every year. And, as I said, I also pay for social security, medicare (medical insurance for the elders and the disabled) and medicaid (medical insurance for the poor). So I have no issue paying for that. My only issue is with my money going to fund stupid crap like stealth fighter planes and whatever space force we have now. But porn is not a regular job. It's more like a side gig, really.  Unfortunately once you do porn, it gets harder for you to find a regular job. And the porn industry would laugh at any attempt from the labor to unionize or go on strike for benefits.

In Spain (my case) public medical insurance costs 40% of our salary. People receive the salary after that and this is not told. People believes that the medium salary is 1000€/month but it's 1800€/month.

But the reality is that if you need a resonance you have to wait till 2 month for this kind of stuff. 

And many times you have to wait till 2 months for a visit to a regular doctor.

Majority of the citizens contract a private medical insurance APART of the mandatory or forced public system because it's overloaded and the public medical insurance bills (hidden by the media) are in a technical bankruptcy. 

Spain has a chronical 20% unemployment and these people are not considered poor, but they are because they are forced to live with their families or parents, who give home and food.

Everytime we need more taxes and this causes less private consumption, which causes that the Government collects less money and causes that we can pay less medics. 40% of our medics emigrate to G.Britain, France or Germany. Directors of some medical areas in public hospitals resigns because they don't want to be responsible of possible deads. 

The Spanish medical system is collapsed and we are getting funds directly from the national debt, which is a suicide.

We the spaniards can't choose whether pay or not the public medical insurance because we are forced to maintain to a legion of citizens who can't work. This is the socialism comrades!!.
