Website blocking?

Hi all,
I seem to have a problem accessing some sites, for example, Bimboy's site, www.bimboy.com
I've tried everything I can think of,like trying to get to it from a link etc.But everytime I try,it allways says,"Internet Explorer cannot show the webpage".I know the site works for others.
It must be something blocking it somehow, maybe my ISP?,or my Anti Virus?.
Any ideas please?,(not too technical please!)
Thanks in advance,
Big Toy Boy

That's disturbing !
- I'm certainly not blocking anyone's IP's from entering

Could be that your ISP has decided my smut isn't good for you - but then - THIS page is OK ?!?

Have you tried simply using Firefox and/or Opera instead ?

Anyone else unable to access my site, please reply ! Edited by Bimboy

I would be more than happy to be apart of YOUR friends but I do not like paying for anything on the net.
sorry friend. sad.gif

@doglands, I am wondering if maybe your problem isnt Vista? if you have it at home that might be the deal since almost all business places had the since to switch back from Vista because it is a POS.

Hi

If you take a look at:

www.dnsstuff.com

or

www.just-ping.com

and enter bimboy.com

it shows there is a problem with the name servers for the site.

I hope this helps.

That's good info.
I'll certainly forward it to my host, but I have to say, I've just about
lost all confidence in those guys (web750.com).
I'm currently looking for a new host, servage.net looks good...

I use Firefox, and turn off cookies, Java, Javascript etc. when surfing in unknown waters. W/ Javascript off I had next to nothing - text and image. Turning javascript on enabled the menus etc.
PDxer.
