By the time you read this it should have all worked out. I have gone too aggressive deep and ended up with blood. It is not a 'fun' healing process for me. The upset stomach, then loose stools. There is another restriction. Depending on your specifics, a muscle sling keeps the bend in and there is also "rectal valves" more rings to push through. For me i would stay away from glass. The end may just be too blunt and your rearend just says no!. I have used 20 Oz soda bottles, plastic water bottles, 12 OZ soda are all good candidates. Look for ones without a sharp bit of plastic in the middle bottom. Either leave unopened ( CO2 pressure ) or fill solid with water. If any wrinckle form get another one, they act as sharp points. I have noticed I can get more width using fingers in than a blunt toy. You could do that to warm up to the bottle.
