1. Most of univerity networks have their own proxy that can accesible for anyone. Dont's trust programs with big lists of p. servers: these are usually private servers that people use in their lans. These tend to be down or reacts slooowly. Find a nice uni proxy and enter it manually into a browser. Dont's forget to enter right port. But there is a drawback: some proxys wont allow you to download certain kinds of files. Good luck!
2. QUOTE(Woowee @ Sep 26 2007, 08:55 PM) Can anybody suggest some software (preferably freeware) for adding (or superimposing) text onto digital pictures ? Perhaps it already exist bundled in some common programs I currently have ? Use Paint Yes it can be done with it! If you want to do it... easier, use Photo Filtre Studio. It's light yet powerful. I use it for all sorts of thing with the photos I take, like sharpening, light correction, color rebalansing, cropping, resing etc. And it has two really really great features: automate mode and layers. It's not free, but you can easily find a serial. http://www.photofiltre-studio.com/news-en.htm
3. Another tool to split/join files is Total Commander, a great file manager.
4. Great, thanks. It'd be awesome to watch these getting in...
5. Hi! I'd like to ask if it's safe to play with round things like apples and other such stuff. I'd like to give it a try but I'm afraidd it may get stuck inside. Do you have any experiencewith such things?
