There needs to be a content database. WHY ad hoc and unorganized forums have become popular, is due to underlying structuring of content, anyway. Their inadequacy probably mirrors their subconscious deviancy from content being offered first, at premium.

Whatever. Anyway, things should change. No more, "Where's that file?" No more, "How old is that file?" No more, "Who's that girl?" Simply put: no more dithering.

This is going to require PLANNING. This is going to require WORK. This is going to require UPDATING.

So, which users are going to help? Not one single other? Really? Post thoughts, here.

Perhaps one has to be a "Great board poster Lv2" or at least an "Advanced Poster" to understand what this thread could possibly be about. Any chance that someone could translate this into plain English for a "Newbie"?

An RBB Wiki of some kind? Only enriched with content links.

I see the future in tags.

Yes. Motive's distinction, is in getting rid of reposts, as well as providing a hub for new users, to not have to trawl archives. It also would be a most preventative measure, in keeping links from dying, due to inactivity.
