well, if I recall rightly Daniella Rush is not dead, nor was she infected by a STD, at the time of the accident that confined her to a wheelchair ....
in fact, at the time she was studying to become a (medical) doctor ....

According to interviews appearing in the adult industry press, Rush was pursuing a degree in medicine.[2] In June 2002, Rush was accidentally struck by a car. Although reports appearing that September indicated that doctors hoped she would be able to walk again within the year, no further updates on her condition have appeared and she has retired from the adult industry. Subsequent to her retirement, Daniella was honoured with a special award at a recent Show in Prague, also attended by Silvia Saint.
