Saving is easy (Windows XP + Explorer)
- once the entire file is loaded, it will be in your "Temporary Internet Files" folder.
Mine is here:
C:\Documents and Settings\<LOGIN>\Local settings\Temporary Internet Files

It's a "hidden" folder, so you have to unhide these (from settings)
- once you've found that folder, sort it by "last opened" and there it is.
It will have some horrible name like "1WG63qJ0Nzp.flv" - always ending in ".flv"
- now simply drag it to another folder, and you're done : )

PS: This works for most other streaming sites too - just not Youtube : ( Edited January 14, 2008 by Bimboy

Actually, once you've found the "Temporary Internet Files", just leave it open.
- press F5 when a new file has loaded, and then drag it to safety - easy enuf
