Hello

Long, long time ago I read my first fantasy book (Hobbit) and from that time I fall on to this kind of books. How ever after years of reading I found what I like most: books with medieval/ancient battles (best if with minimum or not at all magic). Problem is that I start to be lack of titles. Can anyone help and reccomend something?

To specyfity here is a kind of I`m looking for: Game of thrones, Black Company, Videssos (both Krisposs and Legion), Dread Empire, Hussite Saga, Oath of Empire...

I expect that many many titles were not translated on to polish but may be I found something

I see I have found the dusty barely used portion of this forum. lol. I too love epic fantasy and sci fi. I would suggest...
Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel series
Terry Brooks' Shannara series. Begin with the Sword of Shannara. It was really the second epic fantasy that hit mainstream after Lord of the Rings. Sword of Shannara has many similarities with LOTR, but that ends after the 1st book. Still epic fantasy with dwarves, elves, halflings, people...
Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series.
R.A. Salvatore's LEgend of Drizzt
Brent Week's Night Angel trilogy (HIGHLY recommended)

Hope you get this, I see you first posted this in 2007... Happy reading!
