What strange and disturbing news to hear. I've always been a fan of Wang's work, especially those editions of Un-natural Sex he directed. The action in those movies was always hard and rough - to say the least - but it never gave me the impression that he regarded women in a degrading way. Ok, there was lots of skull fucking, hard dp's and double vag/anal, but it seemed to me that all actresses featured in the series knew what they were up to. BUT... I have all those films and I watch them regularly, and I have the impression that some of those actresses (except of course big names as Ariana Jolie, Sandra Romain,...) were under the influence of something (ecstacy? coke?). But that assumed drug abuse by the actresses is nothing compared to the way Steve Holmes looks/acts like nowadays. He's clearly a hard coke hitter and it doesn't seem that there are any inhibitions left in that man. Some of his fellow actors seem to join in on the c thing (especially when acting with him in UNS). I am not, like Marlin, in on what's happening in porn, but from my personal, outsider's point of view: yes, there seems to be something wrong these days in the porn industry. The love is gone, I guess. Too many people just hopped onto the harder! harder! harder! bandwagon without a certain savoir faire. Rocco demolished assholes ten years ago, Christophe Clark stuffed huge toys up the assholes of this planet's most beautiful women and BJ & Ariel ruled the world of online anal fisting... and it was nice. People enjoyed themselves, both men and women. Nowadays, the racks are overflooded by movies of player-type, get-rich-quick-playboy directors/actors and "I'm doin' anal coz it pays better" actresses. Eventually things will sort theirselves out...
